Crypto Regulation (VARA)

Dubai established VARA as the world's first independent regulator for virtual assets. Entities offering exchange, custody, or advisory services within Dubai (excluding DIFC) must obtain a VARA license.

DIFC Exclusion

VARA's jurisdiction covers all of Dubai's mainland and Free Zones, except the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), which is regulated separately by the DFSA.
